VIDEO: Lenny Kravitz + Justice - Let Love Rule
Say what you will about Justice (at the Orlando show someone tagged JUSTICE SUX on their tour bus) or Lenny Kravitz (actually I will probably agree to whatever negative opinion you have on Kravitz, not really a fan at all), but this new video for their collabo “Let Love Rule” is pretty awesome.
Directed by Keith Schofield, it plays out like a cheesy 80’s flick complete with the Marty McFly character kissing his love interest goodbye while delivering the cliche title of the movie, or in this case, the song. And given the overall 80’s kitsch of Justice (which compliments Kravitz’s cheeseball anthem), when the faux end credits of the video start to roll it genuinely seems like a John Hughes action movie that never happened.
Oh and bonus points for that saxophone solo.

Oh that’s a nice way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Let Love Rule”. Yup, it came out in 1989. But it was already a 90s record for sound and themes. So Justice turned it upside down :-)
