July was the ugliest most stressful month of 2011 so far, but today is my last day of work before weeks of holiday.
Unfortunately I will spend them all at home. We’re in the midst of an extensive house renovation (guess where the money went), and of course the workers started the job and then went on holiday themselves leaving us with a big hole in one floor, awful mess to clean up, scaffoldings, wires and thingies hanging. We also now have bedroom and kitchen (the only two rooms not *destroyed*) at two different floors, and we have to use the communal stairs to go from one to another. Good for exercise, though.
I plan to work on a tan in the backyard, read a lot of long novels, undertake some crafts projects and of course chillax. What are your holiday resolutions?
