fuckyeahsoulmusic:I put together a lil mix, figure I’d share with you and your followers.
The Soul Tape
Haven’t put one of these together in a lil min, that’s what happens when boredom strikes. Just a few of my favorite oldie joints, with a few gems in there sampled by Hip Hop. And I totally bit off Fab’s title of his mixtape but I couldn’t come up with anything clever, and it sounds more fitting with this anyway. Enjoy though, reblog, like, share, yadda yadda yadda.
Baby Huey - Hard Times
Bobby Womack - Across 110th Street
The Soul Children - Move Over
Michael Jackson - We’re Almost There
Darondo - Didn’t I
Bobby Blue Bland - Ain’t No Love In The Heart of The City
The Charmels - As Long As I’ve Got You
Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway - Be Real Black For Me
Eddie Kendricks - Intimate Friends
Gil Scott-Heron - Angel Dust
Aretha Franklin - One Step Ahead
Issac Hayes - Walk On By
The Delfonics - Ready or Not
William Bell & Mavis Staples - Strung Out
The Temptations - I’m a Bachelor
The Persuaders - Trying Girls Out
Barbara Mason - Yes, I’m Ready
Willie Hutch - I Choose You
Billy Stewart - Cross My Heart

Curtis Mayfield - Move On Up
